Can I make milestone private?

Yes. To make a milestone private so only select project members can see it, simply select the users you wish to have access to the milestone from the privacy dropdown. You have the option to select all company members or pick individual project members.

Can I add multiple milestones at once?

Yes. When you are in the project you want to add milestones to, click the Milestones tab. On the left hand side click on the Add multiple milestones.... link.

You can now enter up to 10 milestones at a time. if you only need to add 4 or 5 leave the Milestone Name field blank for the remaining items.

Can I get my milestones to show up on my external calendar app?

Yes. On the Milestones tab in a project you can subscribe to the iCal feed to get your milestones to show up in Google Calendar, Outlook 2007, iCal etc

To get milestones across all projects to show, click All items then choose the All Milestones section. Subscribe to the iCal feed on this page to get a feed of all milestones across all projects.

Can I assign a milestone to multiple people?

Yes. When you create or edit a milestone click the Multiple People link under Who's responsible? and choose the people you want assigned to your milestone.

Can I retrospectively change the date a milestone was completed?

Sometimes people check Milestones off late. If you are an Administrator or Project Administrator you can change the date a milestone was completed from the Milestone View Page.

When you view a milestone, on the left hand side next to the date the milestone was completed, you can click Modify to change the date the milestone is shown as completed on.

Can I move a milestone to another project?

Yes. If you Edit a Milestone, you can choose "Move to another project".

A dialog will display allowing you to choose the new project.

All comments on the Milestone will also be moved. Task lists that were attached to the Milestone will be detatched.
