It's been a busy couple of weeks at Teamwork HQ which means only one thing. Updates!
The main items we have included in this update are:
Added the ability to assign Milestones to multiple people (One of our top requests!)
Edit event types on calendar
Colour code Milestones by status on the calendar
New company and people listing and editing (Peter did a great job on this)
A - Z listing added
Quick search
List or Card view
New editing/adding interface
Sets the App up nicely for the new Contacts feature comin...

Just a quick email to update you all on some important but subtle tweaks to the app.
File Filtering - You can now filter files by person
File Sorting - You can now sort files by Date, Name and Size. We'll be expanding this to other attributes and also adding in Ascending/Descending order
Tasks Simplified - We're constantly working on making our User Interface simpler and easier yet remain powerful. Today we added in a neat trick to hide the complexity. Tell me in the comments if you spotted it ;-)

All Time Report : Time reports across all projects

One of the most frequent requests we get from people and something we always need ourselves is the ability to report on logged time across all projects.
Prior to today, you would have to go into each individual project and generate a time report on a per project basis which is time consuming if you need to run wages, bill clients over multiple projects etc

New Feature : Resources Tab

Today we pushed a major new feature for all installations on all price plans - Project Resources
The Resources tab in each project allows users to embed 3rd party applications, links and web pages in a popup window such as Google Documents, YouTube Videos, Standard Web pages, ProofHQ Proof tools and hundreds of over services we haven't even thought of!
The new Resources feature is similar in layout and functionality to the Files tab. Resources can be grouped into Folders for categorization and listed grouped by date.

Update : Time Section : Permission changes

The time tracking feature is one of our most popular features of Teamwork Project Manager and we get a lot of feedback and requests on improving the functionality.
Today we have changed the permission levels relating to this section. Before today, anybody that had Can Log Time permission could edit and delete any entry in the Time section.
We have changed this to the following:
Administrators can delete / edit all time entries
Project Administrators can delete / edit all time entries
Everybody else with permission to Log Time can only delete / edit their own time e...
Use Google Docs in Teamwork Project Manager

Google Docs is a great tool for editing office documents online.
You can embed them into Teamwork Project Manager using either the Notebooks or Messages section.
Notebooks:
Browse to a document on Google Docs and note the URL in the address bar of your browser
Create a Notebook Category called My Google Documents
Create a new Notebook and give it a name
Click Edit HTML Source link or use the HTML toolbar button on the Notebook Editor
