New in Teamwork: Task date quick links

August 27, 2009 · Peter Coppinger
One of the reasons Teamwork outshines our competitors is because we actively use Teamwork to manager our internal projects and Teamwork development every day. Every day we discover little ways we could make the Teamwork better. Yesterday it occurred to me that something I do a lot is move tasks to future dates when I know that I won't get them done due to some interruption. To move the date forward involves bringing up the calendar and clicking a future date in the calendar.. a two step process. I thought to myself that there may be a better way - usually I am just moving a task either a...

July 07, 2009 · Peter Coppinger
it really brightens up my day when we receive your feedback and encouragement so I was delighted when Dan send me the link to another TeamworkPM review that he had just found. it seems the guys at Overmortal are impressed. :D "Basecamp is a fantastic project management solution that is well-deserved of the attention it gets, but at the end of the day, we use Teamwork PM in our company." After an amazingly short downtime of only 30 minutes, Teamwork was back up and running with the new engine, ahem, new application server r...

Company contact details now listed on People page I was a bit shocked when I realised that we weren't listing the company contact details when you picked a company on the people page. How did we mis...

300%+ Speed increase!

March 07, 2009 · Peter Coppinger
You'll be delighted to hear that we have just rolled an update out to the servers and Teamwork Project Manager is now over 300% faster! How did we manager this? Well basically we save your browser from repeatedly checking for and downloading new files. Now when you click on a page that you have visited before, the only thing that will load is the page HTML ie. just your data. All the images and code will be loaded already. Check out how much faster the Project Overview page loads now: That's right, it's over 300% faster. it used to take 1.74 seconds (On a 2meg DSL line) and now...
