New look for adding Tasks
November 24, 2009 · Sam Kidd
One of our main goals here is that TeamworkPM is easy to use hence our tagline, “Project Management made easy”. One problem with this goal is that as we keep adding features we keep adding slightly more complexity to the system with each new feature. The feature needs to be put somewhere in the Ui!
For existing uses this is not too much of an issue as they have be using TWPM as it has been growing so one extra feature here and there does not really bother them.
When new users first load up TWPM they can be slightly overwhelmed. Every day we receive emails asking for new ...

New in Teamwork: Task date quick links
August 27, 2009 · Peter Coppinger
One of the reasons Teamwork outshines our competitors is because we actively use Teamwork to manager our internal projects and Teamwork development every day. Every day we discover little ways we could make the Teamwork better.
Yesterday it occurred to me that something I do a lot is move tasks to future dates when I know that I won't get them done due to some interruption. To move the date forward involves bringing up the calendar and clicking a future date in the calendar.. a two step process.
I thought to myself that there may be a better way - usually I am just moving a task either a...

May 03, 2008 · Daniel Mackey
We got a great suggestion regarding the size of the new message content area from one of our new users last night and as its the Bank Holiday weekend over here, I said I would add it to Teamwork Project Manager today.
Choosing text area dimensions is a juggling act; make them too small and the user has to scroll constantly to establish context and make revisions; make them too big and you risk wasting valuable screen real-estate!
To enable the best of both worlds, I have implemented a feature that grows and shrinks the message writing area depending on the length of your message p...
