TeamworkPM is now better, faster, stronger
September 05, 2009 · Sam Kidd
Over the past few weeks, some of you may have found TeamworkPM to be a bit slower than normal. This has been due to our growing number of users putting extra strain on our current servers.
I had posted a blog post a while ago about upgrading to our new facility and it’s something we have been putting off for as long as we could until we were sure we had tested the new set-up enough and worked out the best possible migration plan for moving everyone across. The time had come where we just couldn't put it off any longer so we decided to pick 6am Saturday morning to start the mov...

September 04, 2009 · Sam Kidd
The time has finally come for us to move across to our new cluster of high performance servers for TeamworkPM. For us to facilitate this migration of data TeamworkPM.net will be down for a few hours from 6am on the 5th of September GMT.
We have already carried out a lot of testing so we hope this should be a fast and easy move.
if you have any questions or problems over the weekend you can contact us at info@digital-crew.com or you can get us on twitter at www.twitter.com/teamworkpm
Thank you for your patience during the move and we hope you enjoy the better performance fr...
New servers for TeamworkPM
June 15, 2009 · Sam Kidd
Some of you may have noticed a few small moments over the past few weeks where TeamworkPM has been responding a bit slower than normal, this has been due to our growing number of users putting extra strain on our current servers. This has been both a good and bad thing for us. The good side is we have learned a lot about optimizing TeamworkPM.
The bad side to this increase in users is, there is only so much optimizing one can do, so to combat this we are now weeks away from moving TeamworkPM over to our new cluster of high-performance servers. These servers will provide all the power and perf...
Speed improvements
August 13, 2008 · Peter Coppinger
Last week, we quietly rolled out some improvements to the speed of Teamwork Project Manager.
The speed that the application loads should now be noticeably faster for the following reasons:
We now load 2 medium sized files instead of 20 or so assorted stylesheet and javascript files.
We compact the code and remove all white-space from the files to make the download as small as possible.
We use something called e-tags to instruct your browser not to download a file again if it has it already.
We are working on some other measures to make TeamworkPM even faster... stay tune...
iE6 Support Finally Added! Phew!
October 10, 2007 · Daniel Mackey
I finally got the last of the iE6 show stopping issues ironed out and Teamwork Project Manager is now updated to allow iE6 users!
There is one little quirk on the task page which I am still working on but it is more an annoyance in the UI than actually stopping tasks from being added/edited etc
if you find anything strange, let me know and I'll have it sorted! On a side note, according to Google Analytics 59% of our visitors are currently running iE6! That was far more than either Peter or myself imagined....
Location / Timezones detection added
September 03, 2007 · Peter Coppinger
its 3.24am - I'm been Working on detecting where the user is from so that I display the correct timezone for him. it's not as easy as you might think. For example, if a user is in Dijon, France, the timezoneid should be 56 , an index into the timezones table which says this is GMT+1.
12 Sept
I have messages finished with about a week now. The flash uploading is working nicely but I'd better do some testing with older browsers.
I just had an idea - we did some research a while back on a project for .net one click install and we now can't remember where the code is or the steps to enable ...
