How to create Task Templates
I thought I would write this quick blog post on the subject of “task templates” as we have gotten a lot of feedback from you all asking where and how do we setup task Templates.
Because of all this feedback we are looking at another way to access these as well as an easier way to find/create them, but in the mean time I wanted to write this quick tutorial to help you all out with task templates.
Step 1:
Go to the setting tab at the top right on the dashboard view

In the settings page you will see the Task List Templates section, click on the blue Edit button to go th.....

New email layout for uploaded files.
We use TeamworkPM everyday in work ourselves and we often find thing that start to annoy us with our own product, and because we have no one else to complain to apart from ourselves I guess we had better do something about it.
One area that we feel has been letting us down and getting under our skin is the email messages which relate to files when they are uploaded into a project.
Fiona, in the office here, will usually upload a new design and say, “this is my first draft, what do you think of it” So I get an email with the message and a link to the project it&rsquo.....

New servers for TeamworkPM
Some of you may have noticed a few small moments over the past few weeks where TeamworkPM has been responding a bit slower than normal, this has been due to our growing number of users putting extra strain on our current servers. This has been both a good and bad thing for us. The good side is we have learned a lot about optimising TeamworkPM.
The bad side to this increase in users is, there is only so much optimising one can do, so to combat this we are now weeks away from moving TeamworkPM over to our new cluster of high-performance servers. These servers will provide all the power and perf.....

Application Server Upgrade
Just a quick note to let you know that over the last weekend, we stayed up very late to find the best possible window to update the underlying application server.
This is something more akin changing the engine in your car than just an oil change.
At 3am on Saturday night, when the worldwide network traffic was at it lowest ebb, we put up a message to say that we were going to be down for a little while and started to feverishly update our servers.
After an amazingly short downtime of only 30 minutes, Teamwork was back up and running with the new engine, ahem, new application server r.....

Updates in May
Howdy people!
I have just been looking at our blog and I see that we have really been neglecting it over the last month. (sorry about that) It's been due to us been up the walls here updating TeamworkPM as well as working away on some nice new features that you guys have been requesting from us. It's pretty much been just heads down here for the last month.
There has been a lot of updates to the software over the last month and I just wanted to make sure that you were all aware of our roadmap page listing the recent updates at the bottom of the page as we release them to the live ve.....

New Feature : Resources Tab
Today we pushed a major new feature for all installations on all price plans - Project Resources
The Resources tab in each project allows users to embed 3rd party applications, links and web pages in a popup window such as Google Documents, YouTube Videos, Standard Webpages, ProofHQ Proof tools and hundreds of over services we haven't even thought of!
The new Resources feature is similar in layout and functionality to the Files tab. Resources can be grouped into Folders for categorization and listed grouped by date.
